“A truly environmentally friendly resource, bamboo is one of the earth’s fastest growing plants.  Bamboo offers vital economic and ecological benefits to the lives of millions of people worldwide; providing food, fuel and housing as well as many beautiful artisan products.  This handcrafted bamboo item comes from a small village in the Ninh Binh province of Viet Nam.  Each piece requires a complex sixty-day process, which involves joining flattened strips of dried bamboo together with a food safe finish.  Clean with soap and warm water.  Dry thoroughly.  We ensure that our artisans are paid fairly and work in safe conditions.”
